I know I could. As I look at everything which was seized by federal authorities in relation to the charges and now plea agreement concerning Jared Fogle, it made me wonder how many of us could really survive the federal fine-toothed comb used here.

Of course, the majority of us aren’t into child porn (or at least I hope that’s true); but what else would be found on all of us if the feds were given as much latitude as seen here?

Surrender every electronic device in your possession. Have every text you’ve ever sent reviewed, including the drunk, angry ones.  Have every hard drive scrubbed from any computer you’ve owned in recent years.  What do you think would be found?  Every email which has moved through cyberspace would be subject to review.  Would you be able to avoid having to make a plea deal?

I’m SURE I’m clean. Might there be embarrassing stuff…of course there would be. But nothing illegal.  I will be the first to admit I’ve sent my share of liquored-up, angry text messages.  Of that…I am guilty.  Other than that…nothing to hide.

How about you?

And…shoutout to MSNBC for also including the story on the female viagra in the ticker at the bottom, JUST as they’re covering the Jared story.

Coincidence? I think not.
