“For the Love of Spock” is a new documentary film in the works celebrating not only the legacy of Mr. Spock; but also paying homage to the man who portrayed the iconic character for 50 years – The late Leonard Nimoy.

This amazing project began last year, just before Thanksgiving, when Adam Nimoy approached his father, Leonard about the possibility of working together on a film about the most iconic figure in all of science fiction – Mr. Spock.

Adam had skimmed through some of the books on the making of Star Trek and felt there was so much more to explore about the birth and evolution of Spock. And the timing seemed right, as the 50th anniversary of Star Trek: The Original Series was not that far away. Leonard agreed that it was the right time, and was 100% committed to collaborating on this project…

Sadly, Leonard Nimoy passed away on February 27, 2015.

Adam joined The Mo’Kelly Show to ask Trekkies across the country to join the mission and help make “For The Love Of Spock” a reality via his Kickstarter campaign.
