Each year I tend to be introspective, taking stock of where I am personally, professionally and spiritually…relative to this time 365 days ago. This year, no different.
Each year I take a moment to say “thank you” to those who have helped, assisted, sustained and supported me throughout the year. I couldn’t have done it without the Lord’s help, first and foremost. That said, I couldn’t have done the rest without your collective help.
The Mo’Kelly Report continues to grow and that’s because people like you reading this message continue to share posts, tell friends or some nice combination of both.
In 2012, without fail together we will push this over the top. More quality conversations with people who matter, higher quality discussions of issues of the greatest importance to people of color and most importantly, continue to offer a caliber of content what arguably no other web property in the world can.
Have a happy and safe new year. I appreciate all of your emails, notes of encouragement and even criticisms. The good news about growth is that more people care to interact and offer thoughts on what is posted here and around the web. In previous years I responded to every single email I received, good or bad. The bad news about that same growth is that there were just too many emails in 2011 to personally respond to them all.
It’s a good problem to have in the grand scheme of things. For any letter in which I did not respond, please charge it to my head and not my heart. Rest assured, I read each and every one of them and will continue to do so.
There are some really exciting announcements on the horizons. You will know them when you hear them. Just know that with each announcement, each of you played a significant part.
Come Monday, it’s back to business. 2012 is going to be tremendous and I can’t wait. Hopefully all of you will join me in this next step.
Be well and thank you.
