Commentary — 15 November 2011

If we in the African-American community are outraged at the behavior of Jerry Sandusky, then we should have equal diligence and outrage in regards to R. Kelly.

Let’s be clear, R. Kelly was acquitted of CHILD PORNOGRAPHY charges, NOT anything in relation to pedophilia, which is behavior-related.  Do not come in here and allege his “innocence” in regard to these issues.

Below was the first interview given by R. Kelly after being acquitted on the aforementioned charges.  Pay close attention to how he dithers on the definition of “teenage girls,” as if the question was unclear.  And no, Mo’Kelly is not responsible for the silly captions and misspellings/poor grammar in the video.  This was unfortunately the only clip of length that could be found on the interview.
